I wanted to share a few things with you with about my journey so far. I started off in debt by approximately $10k. I was working my first salaried job and then COVID hit and I was laid off. I had no way of getting my debt paid off and I didn't qualify for any relief. No stimulus check, no unemployment benefits, nothing. I was applying to 100+ jobs every two days or so and didn't receive any offers for months. I was applying for jobs since I was laid off in March and didn't find a job until August. In just two months I was able to pay off approximately $8k in debt, with the help of my savings and investments. I was able to pay of this debt in a month and I can't wait to be totally debt free. Here's to a major milestone in my debt free journey.
